Be Inspired

In our never-ending search for self-improvement, we look up to those who have achieved success for guidance. We read books, listen to lectures, and watch documentaries of these successful people hoping to garner some intelligence on how they found their success. We want to understand the who, the what, and the where of how they did it. Where did their drive come from? Can I re-create that success with my ideas? Is there a blueprint they have laid out for me to follow?

The following are some quotes I have found useful in my drive to find success, I hope you will find them inspirational too.

"It's fine to celebrate success, but it is more important to heed the lessons of failure." -Bill Gates

"Everyone has ideas. They may be too busy or lack the confidence or technical ability to carry them out. But I want to carry them out. It is a matter of getting up and doing it." -James Dyson

"An entrepreneur is someone who jumps off a cliff and builds a plane on the way down." -Reid Hoffman

"The biggest risk is not taking any risk. In a world that's changing really quickly, the only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking risks." -Mark Zuckerberg

"If you've got an idea, start today. There's no better time than now to get going. That doesn't mean quit your job and jump into your idea 100 percent from day one, but there's always small progress that can be made to start the movement." -Kevin Systrom, Instagram

"If somebody offers you an amazing opportunity but you are not sure you can do it, say yes--then learn how to do it later!" -Richard Branson

“One of the huge mistakes people make is that they try to force an interest on themselves. You don’t choose your passions; your passions choose you.” -Jeff Bezos

“Risk comes from not knowing what you're doing.” -Warren Buffett

“Work like there is someone working 24 hours a day to take it away from you.” Mark Cuban

“I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” -Thomas Edison

These quotes are great insight to some of the greatest minds of our generation. These are all ideas or thoughts we have in the privacy of our own minds, but how many of us are willing to take action?
